Auxiliary Systems' Installation Technician

Job description :

  • Regular Position (Permanent)
  • Daytime Schedule : Monday to Friday
  • Salary : 28-32$/Hour, depending on Expérience
  • Wordplace : 8730 Pascal-Gagnon, Saint-Leonard, Montreal

RM Electro Diesel, the largest dealer of Webasto, Espar and Autoclima products in Eastern Montreal, is looking for an installation technician to join its team. Our company has specialized in the installation and sale of its products for over 20 years. These versatile, compact products are installed in many types of road trucks, camping vans and more! Given the growing demand for these efficient systems, we need new arms – we need you!

Your responsibilities will be the following:

  • Install heating and air conditioning system components in various types of road vehicles and cockpits.
  • Evaluate space and equipment requirements according to vehicle type.
  • Follow component installation diagrams based on manufacturer's recommendations and customer preferences.
  • Ensure the quality and safety of installations.
  • Maintain and repair Webasto, Espar and Autoclima auxiliary systems.
  • Keep track of parts used and time required for each installation under the supervision of the shop foreman.

Qualifications Required :

  • High School Diploma
  • Manual Dexterity and Knowledge of Basic Tools
  • Valid Driver's License

Heavy-Duty Vehicule Mechanic

Job Description : 

  • Regular Position (Permanent)
  • Daytimr Schedule : Monday to Thrsdat (40hrs/Week)
  • Salary : $32.43-40.73/Hour, Depending on Experience
  • Workplace : 8730 Pascal-Gagnon, Saint-Leonard, Montreal

We're looking for a heavy-duty mechanic with 4+ years' experience who wants to find a job that matches his or her skills. You'll be part of a team of renowned and experienced technicians in heavy-duty diesel repair and maintenance. At RM Électro Diesel, we offer you a job opportunity that goes well beyond the simple maintenance of heavy vehicles. The tasks are very diversified and call upon all the skills that a mechanic can acquire.

Your Duties :

  • Perform diagnostics using the latest software
  • Repair engine/transmission components
  • IInspect, diagnose and repair ABS brakes
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems
  • Diagnose and repair basic air conditioning systems
  • Diagnose and repair Webasto/Espar heating systems (A PLUS)
  • Perform PMP inspections
  • Perform pre-S.A.A.Q. inspections
  • Perform heavy vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes, battery checks and lubrication of ETC equipment.

Requirements : 

  • DEP training in heavy-duty truck mechanics or automotive mechanics
  • 4+ years' experience in the field
  • Professional autonomy in the field (asset)
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Possession of a complete toolbox
  • Possession of PMP card (asset)
  • Possession of halocarbon cards (asset)
  • Possession of a class 1 license (asset)
