Candidate Profile
-
- Diploma : DVS in heavy vehicle mechanics or construction equipment.
- Experience : Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in truck mechanics
- Skills : Good diagnostic ability and skill with computer scanning tools (scanners)
- License : Valid class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 is a strong asset). Possession of PEP and halocarbon cards (an asset)
- Attitude : Team spirit, resourcefulness and rigor in dealing with safety instructions.

Job Description :
- Regular Position (Permanent)
- Daytime Schedule : Monday to Thrsdat (40hrs/Week)
- Salary : $32.43-40.73/Hour, Depending on Experience
- Workplace : 8730 Pascal-Gagnon, Saint-Leonard, Montreal
We're looking for a heavy-duty mechanic with 4+ years' experience who wants to find a job that matches his or her skills. You'll be part of a team of renowned and experienced technicians in heavy-duty diesel repair and maintenance. At RM Électro Diesel, we offer you a job opportunity that goes well beyond the simple maintenance of heavy vehicles. The tasks are very diversified and call upon all the skills that a mechanic can acquire.
Your Duties :
- Perform diagnostics using the latest software
- Repair engine/transmission components
- Inspect, diagnose and repair ABS brakes
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems
- Diagnose and repair basic air conditioning systems
- Diagnose and repair Webasto/Espar heating systems (A PLUS)
- Perform PMP inspections
- Perform pre-S.A.A.Q. inspections
- Perform heavy vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes, battery checks and lubrication of ETC equipment.
Requirements :
- DEP training in heavy-duty truck mechanics or automotive mechanics
- 4+ years' experience in the field
- Professional autonomy in the field (asset)
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Possession of a complete toolbox
- Possession of PMP card (asset)
- Possession of halocarbon cards (asset)
- Possession of a class 1 license (asset)

You'll be part of a team of renowned and experienced technicians in heavy-duty diesel repair and maintenance. At RM Électro Diesel, we offer you a job opportunity that goes well beyond the simple maintenance of heavy vehicles. The tasks are very diversified and call upon all the skills that a mechanic can acquire.
Your Duties :
- Perform general repairs and mechanical maintenance on various types of heavy trucks.
- Participate in PEP (Preventive Maintenance Program) inspections .
- Conduct pre-SAAQ inspections .
- Diagnosing and repairing air conditioning systems.
- Installing auxiliary systems on heavy vehicles of all types.
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment.
Requirements :
- DEP training in heavy-duty truck mechanics or automotive mechanics
- 1 to 3 years' experience in the field
- Professional autonomy in the field (asset)
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Possession of a basic complete toolbox
